As a Solution Engineer you will:

• Participate as a technical lead in yearly exercises such as Coalition Warrior Interoperability Exercise (CWIX).
  
• Conduct interviews with operational entities across NATO Enterprise to gather user requirements.
  
• Translate user requirements into detailed component specifications and design solutions.
  
• Provide comprehensive guidance on solution development and ensure compatibility with relevant architectures and standards.
  
• Act as part of the development team when necessary contributing to software code development.
  
• Assist in preparing technical plans and ensure appropriate technical resources are allocated.
  

What You Bring to the Table:

• Broad knowledge of IT systems and product offerings including JavaScript (HTML5) and Microsoft .NET development environments.
  
• Strong expertise in integration middleware platforms like INTCORE RabbitMQ Apache Kafka Apache Camel.
  
• Familiarity with modern database platforms such as MongoDB CrateDB or similar.
  
• Deep understanding of systems integration and data translation processes.
  
• Minimum 24 months of recent experience in software architecting and agile software development in C# and JavaScript.
  
• Proficiency in Docker containers Kubernetes TCP/UDP protocols and CI/CD tools such as SonarQube and NUnit.
  
• Knowledge of agile software development methodologies; certification in agile development is advantageous.
  
• Extensive experience in HTML5 user interface development and familiarity with XML XSD with a willingness to learn XQUERY and XPATH.
  
• Familiarity with DNS domains PKI certificates and network designs.
  
• Experience in cloud implementations like AWS or Azure.
  
• Capability to lead teams of contractors as required.
  
• Flexibility customerfocused attitude and ability to maintain high standards of quality and productivity.
  
• Must be a national of one of the NATO nations and fluent in English; working level French is desirable.
