Tasks

Job Description

As a Sr. Generative AI Engineer at Reavant you will directly contribute to building a CoPilot for commercial real estate (CRE) professionals. Reavants AI Agents can help real estate professionals create parse interpret and interrogate documents such as contracts as well as act autonomously to perform otherwise manually timeconsuming tasks.

Youll tackle a mix of research (20%) design (20%) and engineering (60%) challenges to drive our product and service to the next level. Working closely with our handson CTO you will create or adapt functionality with the right balance of quality performance speed and usability.

As our first technical hire you will have a significant and visible impact on our product service and company.

Key Responsibilities
Activities where you will make a difference include:

• Design and run experiments & evaluations on various Machine Learning tasks (Generative AI classic NLP or other).
• Design and build a user workflow interaction or widget.
• Design and engineer an offline or online MLOps workflow.
• Productize i.e. translate an experimental subprocess from a notebook to the SaaS code base.
• (Re)architect the solution at all levels and morph it into a better version of itself.
• Adhere to modern coding standards write unit tests where necessary.
• Follow the newest technologies and smartly pick the most promising and relevant ones.

At this stage shipping imperfect functionality and learning from its usage by customers is more important than producing perfection. We maximally rely on external services for noncore elements so we can focus on what really matters.

Requirements

• 4 years experience writing highquality production code.
• Autonomous selfstarter with relevant expertise.
• Open to reviewing code and having your code reviewed.
• Proficient in Python (must) Django (strong plus) and major GenAI libraries (LangChain LangGraph HayStack or LlamaIndex).
• Comfortable in modern development environments (GitHub/GitLab VSCode DevOps automated testing).
• Good knowledge of various API designs (REST GraphQL).
• Experience with different databases (relational vector graph) and cloud environments including the DevOps part (Docker).
• Relevant degree in Computer Science AI Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Fluent in English; professional knowledge of Dutch or German strongly preferred.
• Comfort with various European languages as an NLP practitioner.
• Knowledge of Streamlit TypeScript ReAct or similar frontend technologies.
