Job Description
Qualifications/ Experience Needed:
Significant programming experience with embedded C/C and Objectoriented software design.
Experience working in realtime operating systems.
Experience in troubleshooting embedded systems.
Experience in interfaces IP protocols and hardware subsystems.
Knowledge of data structures and algorithms systems software design operating systems architectures software development life cycle and processes.
Experience working with large complex software systems and refactoring legacy code.
Experience writing software for and debugging issues in realtime multithreaded software applications.
Experience with secure coding practices.
Experience designing and documenting software architecture.
Demonstrated success in prior leadership roles.
Bachelors Degree in Computer Science Electrical Engineering Computer Engineering Software Engineering Aerospace Engineering Math Physics or related field AND a minimum of 12 years relevant experience OR an equivalent combination of education and experience
Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working on DO178 and ARP4754 standards.

Experience developing software in a teambased development environment preferably Agile/SCRUM DevSecOps and test automation.

Demonstrated success in prior leadership roles such as a Product Owner Release Train Engineer Product Release Manager Software Architect or equivalent.

Strong problemsolving and communication skills including the ability to produce technical documentation and the desire to learn new technologies and tools.

Demonstrated ability to work effectively with coworkers from diverse communities and cultures.

Experience working with teams across multigeographical locations and multidisciple is preferred.

Demonstrated ability to work with colleagues who represent a diversity of work and conflict resolution styles.
