Overview

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop ETL processes using Talend to integrate data from various sources.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand data integration requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Optimize and tune ETL processes for maximum performance and efficiency.
• Ensure data quality and integrity throughout the data integration processes.
• Troubleshoot and debug ETL processes to resolve issues and improve reliability.
• Implement best practices for data warehousing and data management.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support data architecture and infrastructure needs.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation for ETL processes and data integration solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance overall quality.
• Stay updated with industry trends and best practices related to data integration and ETL tools.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of data integration processes and tools within the organization.
• Support data migration and data governance initiatives.
• Train and mentor junior team members on Talend development and best practices.
• Participate in the evaluation and selection of new tools and technologies for data integration.

Required qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Systems or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and developing data integration solutions using Talend.
• Proficiency in ETL concepts data modeling and data warehousing principles.
• Strong programming skills in Java for custom component development in Talend.
• Expertise in SQL and database technologies for data manipulation and analysis.
• Solid understanding of data integration best practices and patterns.
• Experience with data profiling cleansing and transformation techniques.
• Ability to work with large volumes of data and optimize data processing workflows.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams and stakeholders.
• Knowledge of cloudbased data integration solutions is a plus.
• Certifications in Talend or related data integration technologies is an advantage.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex ETL issues effectively.
• Experience in agile development methodologies and DevOps practices.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills to identify and address data integration challenges.
