Job Description

As a Lead Business Analyst (MRO), you will play a critical role in delivering high impact software projects and products for Aircraft Maintenance & Engineering (M&E) division of Qatar Airways by bridging the gap between business needs and technology solutions using agile methodology. The ideal candidate must have a strong credible experience delivering large products and projects in this domain using Agile methodology and demonstrated success in transforming the business concepts to working products in real world. Whilst experience in airline domains like aircraft Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) , M&E are desired, it is not mandatory, however the ability to grasp the domain, business process, systems landscape is crucial for the role. Key Roles and Responsibilities • As MRO domain expert, be the primary interface to facilitate communication between customer/business and technology teams • Collaborate, Collect, analyze and model business needs and requirements • As part of transformation initiatives, understand the MRO systems landscape and ensure interface specifications are documented, developed, tested and implemented • Work with various business SMEs and IT delivery teams to manage various implementation activities like interfaces development, data migration, user acceptance testing, NFR testing, end user training, transition & go-live planning, hyper care support etc • Work closely with end user to identify gaps in automation, create business case, detailed user stories, process flows, UI wireframes and other associated documents required for User experience and technical teams to design and carry out development without ambiguity • Support the technical lead / architect in designing the technical framework that meets the desired business outcomes of the solution envisioned. • Support quality assurance team members in test case scenarios and ensure quality and integrity of overall solution and customer experience. • Participate in sprint planning, backlog grooming and sprint review meetings and contribute to continuous improvements to the efficiency and quality of the processes • Ensure project and product objectives are met with scope, timeline, cost and overall budget allocations • Provide mentoring and coaching to business analysts. Contribute in setting best practices and standards for the organization wide BA Center of Practice.
