Job Summary:
The SAP S/4HANA Change Management Analyst plays a crucial role in supporting change management efforts for a complex greenfield SAP S/4HANA implementation. This position is responsible for supporting change management activities ensuring stakeholder alignment and mitigating risks associated with organizational process and system changes. The role requires strong leadership communication skills and the ability to successfully deliver change initiatives in complex environments.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Change Management Support:
- Assist the Change Lead in planning and conducting workshops including change impact assessments and fitgap analysis.
- Evaluate the impact of changes on business processes and systems identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies.
- Participate in fitgap workshops to analyze current processes and identify gaps in the new S/4HANA system.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and document new job roles and responsibilities aligned with the S/4HANA implementation.
2. Training and Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop and deliver training programs to ensure endusers are wellprepared for the transition to S/4HANA.
- Responsible for engaging key stakeholders and ensuring their needs are addressed throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure communication plans are executed to inform and prepare employees and stakeholders for the changes.
- Create and distribute communication materials that clearly convey the changes and their impact.
3. Governance and Change Control:
- Ensure alignment with the overall governance framework of the project and collaborate closely with the project management office (PMO) and steering committee.
- Ensure all changes to project scope timelines or budget related to change management are controlled and approved following established procedures.
4. Program Success Metrics:
- Track and report on key success metrics for change management including adoption rates feedback from training and business readiness.
- Assist in the development and delivery of change management plans including communication training and stakeholder engagement strategies.
5. Crossfunctional Collaboration:
- Collaborate with project managers and business leads to ensure alignment between project delivery and change management efforts.
- Conduct impact assessments to evaluate how S/4HANA implementation will affect existing business processes and systems.
6. Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain documentation of change management activities including communications risk logs and change impact analysis.
- Report progress risks and issues related to change management efforts to senior leadership and steering committees.
7. Post Golive Support:
- Provide support during the postgolive stabilization period ensuring that users adapt to new processes and tools.
- Collect feedback and lessons learned to continuously improve change management methodologies.
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- 8 years of experience in change management within complex IT or ERP implementations ideally in SAP environments.
- 5 years of experience leading change management for SAP S/4HANA projects.
- Bachelors degree in Business Administration Organizational Development or a related field.
- Proficiency in conducting workshops change impact assessments fitgap analysis job role design and training development.
- Project Management qualifications such as Prince 2 PMP or equivalent are preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
- Proficient with MS Office and other change management tools.
- Fluent in English both spoken and written.
- Previous experience in global SAP implementations is advantageous.
