Job Position: Back Operations Lead

Job Description: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Back Operations Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in logistics and supply chain management with a focus on ensuring seamless order fulfillment processes. This is a fulltime position that requires a candidate who is highly organized analytical and has excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Stocking orders: We import equipment to the US from a variety of countries. These orders need to be coordinated with our vendor partners and transit needs to be organized to ensure a seamless flow from order planning to receipt at our warehouse.
  • Shipping Logistics: We work with several partners to organize air and ocean shipments. This process requires us to get several quotations and organize the pickup of orders from several countries.
  • Dropship orders: While we hold a lot of inventory at our warehouse we do not stock most new espresso machines as each manufacturer holds stock for us. However when we have a sale that we do not hold stock for it requires us to organize a shipment from our supplier warehouse to our end customer. Your responsibility will be to ensure an order gets placed with our vendors and that tracking gets linked to our client order.
  • Ensure the endtoend success of our fulfillment process: You will have the most visibility around how a product comes from our supplier to our client. Therefore you will play a critical role in ensuring that balls arent dropped from order placement to delivery.
  • Process Improvement: You will have a frontrow seat to recurring activities that could be streamlined or automated. We leverage software automation as much as possible at our company and look forward to hearing your input on how things might be made more efficient.

Requirements:

  • 2 years of experience in logistics and supply chain management with a focus on order fulfillment and inventory management
  • Experience with coordinating import and export shipments including air and ocean shipments
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Great attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with inventory management and order tracking systems such as QuickBooks Unleashed or ShipStation is a bonus
