Systems Engineer

Job Summary:

The Systems Engineer will be responsible for designing deploying and supporting our organizations systems infrastructure ensuring reliability scalability and security. This role requires strong technical skills problemsolving abilities and a proactive approach to system optimization and automation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design implement and manage systems infrastructure including servers storage virtualization and cloud platforms.
• Perform system installation configuration and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Monitor system performance and capacity planning to meet current and future organizational needs.
• Implement and maintain system security measures including firewalls encryption and access controls.
• Automate routine tasks and processes using scripting languages and configuration management tools.
• Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to support IT projects and initiatives.
• Conduct system upgrades patches and migrations with minimal disruption to operations.
• Provide technical support and resolution of escalated system issues.
• Document system configurations procedures and troubleshooting guides.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends to recommend and implement improvements.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g. MCSE RHCE) preferred.
• Minimum of 57 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or in a similar role.
• Proven expertise in systems administration configuration management and automation.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g. VMware HyperV) and cloud platforms (e.g. AWS Azure).
• Familiarity with networking concepts protocols and security practices.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g. PowerShell Python Bash) for automation.
• Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fastpaced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
