Housekeeper

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Housekeeper with a passion for cooking for a residence located in Downtown Toronto. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence along with regular meal preparation. This position is fulltime liveout Monday to Friday 9am5pm with flexibility.

Candidate Profile:

You are an experienced and wellrounded housekeeping professional who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You have a strong understanding of household hygiene and cleaning best practices. You have a passion for cooking who is comfortable with meal prep and can follow a recipe. You have a good eye for detail and are comfortable working while the family is home and when they are not home. You are comfortable working in a Household with a newborn.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping to include dusting vacuuming kitchen and bathroom cleaning washing floors
  

• Meal preparation fridge organisation
  

• Maintain household inventory prepare household inventory checklists
  

• Weekly Oven/ Stove cleaning
  

• Cleaning of Windows.
  

• Daily laundry ironing and steaming follow washing instructions for certain fabrics Closet organization
  

• Trash and recycling management
  

• Putting away groceries
  

• Special projects include but not limited to quarterly deep cleans household cupboard reorganization
  

• Other duties as required from time to time
  

Applicant Qualities:

• Must have previous experience working in a private residence
  

• Excellent housekeeping laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces
  

• food preparation skills
  

• Must maintain privacy and confidentiality at all times exercise diplomacy discretion and respect of boundaries
  

• Applicants must be service oriented with excellent English communication skills
  

• A valid Full G drivers license is a plus
  

• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
