Housekeeper Cook

Position Overview:

Seeking an experienced Housekeeper for a semiformal residence located in Beaconsfield. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring the overall cleanliness and organization of the residence. Rooms to be cleaned alternate each day. This position is fulltime Monday Friday 9am 6pm with some flexibility required to work the occasional evening or weekend with notice. This role will also consider candidates who prefer to livein.

Candidate Profile:

You are an experienced and knowledgeable housekeeping professional with excellent housekeeping and laundry skills who enjoys keeping a clean and organized home. You know how to handle and care for highend finishes furnishings and lighting. You communicate well and are comfortable working independently the majority of the time. You understand a home is a living environment not just a workplace and can easily adjust your daily schedule to accommodate activities in the residence. You take initiative and keep a level head in a busy home making sure that everything gets done as needed.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Daily housekeeping to include making beds dusting vacuuming kitchen and bathroom cleaning washing floors
  
• Care of fine furnishings fixtures fabrics finishes and surfaces
  
• Basic cooking and meal preparation; able to confidently follow a recipe
  
• Inventory management of the residence including cleaning products and toiletries
  
• Regular laundry with some ironing
  
• Weekly clean of patio furniture during the summer months
  
• Outdoor plant watering during summer months
  
• Wardrobe management packing and unpacking
  
• Supervise trades and contractors as needed
  
• Ensure household security protocols are followed
  
• Answering the door receive packages
  
• Sort and dispose of recycling compost and garbage correctly
  
• Errands and other tasks as needed
  

Applicant Qualities:

• Excellent English communication skills and professional personal presentation
  
• A valid driver s license and access to a vehicle is an asset
  
• Comfortable reaching high spaces using a house ladder
  
• Must be comfortable lifting 30 pounds
  
• Excellent housekeeping laundry and ironing skills; correct use of products and methods for fine finishes and surfaces
  
• Must maintain privacy and confidentiality always exercising diplomacy discretion and respecting appropriate boundaries
  
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
