Java Lead (Production Support)
Job Location: Dallas TX (W2 position)
Duration : 6 Months

Job Description:

Need 9 years of experience in Java backend development.
Proven experience in leading a team and managing production support.
Strong understanding of Java Spring Framework Hibernate and related technologies.
Experience with RESTful APIs microservices architecture and database design (SQL and NoSQL).
Familiarity with monitoring tools (e.g. Prometheus Grafana) logging frameworks (e.g. Log4j SLF4J) and version control systems (e.g. Git).
Excellent problemsolving skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
Strong communication and leadership skills both written and verbal.
ITIL certification is a plus.
Lead mentor and manage a team of Java developers and production support engineers.
Provide technical guidance and support to team members in troubleshooting and resolving production issues.
Conduct regular performance reviews set goals and provide constructive feedback to team members.
Oversee the monitoring troubleshooting and resolution of issues in the production environment.
Ensure timely and effective communication with stakeholders during production incidents.
Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for production incidents and implement longterm solutions to prevent recurrence.
Develop and maintain monitoring logging and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues.
Create and maintain detailed documentation of production incidents resolutions and preventive measures.
Provide oncall support as needed and manage the incident management and resolution process.
Design develop and maintain robust scalable and highperformance backend systems using Java.
Write clean maintainable and efficient code following best practices and coding standards.
Collaborate with frontend developers UX/UI designers and other stakeholders to integrate userfacing elements with serverside logic.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Identify opportunities for process improvements automation and optimization within the development and support lifecycle.
Stay uptodate with the latest industry trends technologies and best practices to enhance skills and knowledge.
Participate in the development and enforcement of coding standards development methodologies and best practices.
