Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Scientist with 35 years of expertise to join our Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in data analysis statistical modeling and machine learning with a strong ability to apply these skills to complex problems in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Advanced Data Analysis: Conduct indepth analysis of large and complex datasets to uncover actionable insights and identify trends patterns and anomalies relevant to banking operations.
• Model Development & Implementation: Design develop and implement sophisticated predictive models and algorithms using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques to drive business decisions and enhance customer experiences.
• Data Visualization & Communication: Create advanced data visualizations to communicate findings and insights effectively to stakeholders facilitating datadriven decisionmaking.
• Data Management & Quality Assurance: Oversee the management integration and quality assurance of large datasets ensuring data integrity security and compliance with industry regulations.
• CrossFunctional Collaboration: Collaborate with various departments including IT marketing finance and risk management to understand business needs and translate them into datadriven solutions.
• Reporting & Presentation: Prepare and present detailed reports on analytical findings model performance and project outcomes to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Mentorship & Leadership: Provide guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists and analysts fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Innovation & Continuous Improvement: Stay abreast of industry trends advancements in data science and emerging technologies and continuously seek opportunities to enhance analytical capabilities and business processes.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
• Experience: 35 years of handson experience in data science preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or SQL.
  • Advanced experience with data visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or Matplotlib.
  • Deep knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries such as scikitlearn TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Strong understanding of database management systems and data warehousing solutions.
• Analytical Skills: Exceptional analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to nontechnical stakeholders effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain Knowledge: Indepth understanding of banking processes products and regulatory requirements.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Scientist Certified Analytics Professional or equivalent.
