Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and detailoriented Junior Data Scientist in Banking with 13 years of experience to join our Data Analytics team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in data analysis statistical modeling and machine learning and will be passionate about applying these skills to solve complex problems in the banking sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Data Analysis & Interpretation: Analyze large datasets to extract actionable insights and identify trends patterns and anomalies relevant to banking operations.
• Model Development: Develop implement and validate predictive models using statistical and machine learning techniques to support business decisions and improve customer experiences.
• Data Visualization: Create clear and compelling data visualizations to communicate findings to stakeholders enabling datadriven decisionmaking.
• Data Management: Work with large volumes of data ensuring data quality integrity and security in compliance with industry regulations.
• Collaboration: Partner with crossfunctional teams including IT marketing and finance to understand business requirements and translate them into datadriven solutions.
• Reporting: Prepare and present comprehensive reports on analytical findings and model performance to senior management and other stakeholders.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay current with industry trends advancements in data science and emerging technologies to continually enhance analytical capabilities.

Required Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Data Science Computer Science Statistics Mathematics or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
• Experience: 13 years of handson experience in data science preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
• Technical Skills:
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python R or SQL.
  • Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau Power BI or Matplotlib.
  • Knowledge of machine learning frameworks and libraries such as scikitlearn TensorFlow or PyTorch.
  • Familiarity with database management systems and data warehousing solutions.
• Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and draw actionable insights.
• Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to present technical information to nontechnical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Domain Knowledge: Understanding of banking processes products and regulatory requirements.
• Certifications: Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Scientist Certified Analytics Professional or equivalent.
• Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail proactive approach and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
