Job Summary: The Plant Coordinator is responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of the manufacturing plant. This role involves coordinating production schedules managing inventory overseeing maintenance and ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations. The Plant Coordinator works closely with various departments to optimize productivity and ensure timely delivery of products.
Key Responsibilities:

Production Coordination:
- Develop and maintain production schedules to meet customer demands and maximize efficiency.
- Coordinate with production teams to ensure schedules are followed and adjust as necessary.
- Monitor production processes and workflows identifying and resolving any issues.

Inventory Management:
- Oversee inventory levels to ensure adequate supply of raw materials and finished products.
- Conduct regular inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies.
- Manage inventory documentation and reporting.

Maintenance Oversight:
- Schedule and coordinate regular maintenance and repairs of plant equipment and machinery.
- Work with the maintenance team to address any equipment malfunctions promptly.
- Ensure maintenance logs and records are kept up to date.

Safety and Compliance:
- Ensure the plant complies with all safety regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and audits.
- Promote a culture of safety among plant employees and provide necessary training.

- Implement and oversee quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards.
- Work with the quality assurance team to address any quality issues.
- Maintain documentation of quality control activities and outcomes.

- Facilitate communication between departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Provide support and guidance to plant staff as needed.

- Prepare and present regular reports on plant performance including production output inventory levels and maintenance activities.
- Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all plant operations.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment which may include exposure to noise dust and varying temperatures.
- Ability to stand walk and move around the plant for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to X pounds.
Work Schedule:
- Fulltime position.
