Purpose of the job

As a senior email delivery executive you will contribute to the design configuration and delivery of products and solutions across the Oracle Eloqua tool as well as responsible for managing and optimizing email marketing campaigns. This role is focused on ensuring the flawless execution and optimal performance of our email marketing campaigns on the Eloqua platform. You should have extensive experience in email delivery a strong understanding of Eloqua and a commitment to maintaining high delivery standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the endtoend delivery of email marketing campaigns using the Eloqua platform ensuring all emails are sent accurately and on schedule.
  • Continuously monitor and improve email deliverability rates identifying and resolving any issues that may impact inbox placement.
  • Manage and maintain highquality email lists ensuring data integrity and compliance with segmentation strategies.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to email delivery including bounce rates spam filters and blacklisting.
  • Ensure all email communications adhere to relevant regulations and best practices including CANSPAM GDPR and other data privacy laws.
  • Conduct thorough testing and QA of emails to ensure correct rendering across different email clients and devices.
  • Collaborate with marketing IT and customer support teams to align email delivery with broader business goals and resolve any interdepartmental issues.
  • Educate and train team members on best practices and advanced techniques for ensuring email deliverability and compliance.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and enhance the email delivery process implementing new tools and methodologies as needed.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to define campaign objectives and requirements. This will involve assisting the technical account management team with scoping for any new work and defining efforts for new requests.

Knowledge skills and experience required

Certs

  • Oracle Eloqua Marketing 2023 Implementation Professional (required for access)
  • Eloqua certification and certifications related to email deliverability and data privacy are highly desirable.

Required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in email marketing with at least 3 years of specialized experience in email deliverability using Eloqua.
  • Expert knowledge of Eloqua including troubleshooting and optimizing for deliverability. Familiarity with email authentication protocols such as DKIM SPF and DMARC.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and quality in all aspects of email delivery.
  • Proven ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues quickly and effectively.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to nontechnical stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience working with JIRA Confluence and Microsoft Teams
