Job Description

Mandatory Skills : MULE ENTERPRISE SERVICE BUS Traffic Management System Integration programme Mulesoft API integration

• The Senior Project Manager(s) will have full IT project life cycle experience and have significant relevant experience in the technical area of the project. i.e. it is expected that the candidate being put forward for the Traffic Management System Integration programme and Train consists Integration Programme will have experience of delivering data projects. In particular they will have worked with mobile infrastructure and Mulesoft API integration and will have delivered at least tworelated highprofile projects recently.
• Prince2 or PMP or similar formal project management application The primary responsibilities of each role will be;
• Project manage and facilitate the various strands of work that are required in order deliver the above projects. 1.1.1 Set up track and report projects within a Project and Portfolio Management Tool.
• Client uses CORA 1.1.2 Prepare detailed plans in MS Project. 1.1.3 Track actual progress in MS Project. 1.1.4 Keep track of planned v actual expenditure. 1.1.5
• Experience working with budgets in excess of €5m 1.1.6 Significant experience working with internal and external Stakeholders including steering presentations to c level 1.1.7
• Significant experience preparing artefacts for Gated checks both internally and externally 1.1.8 20 years plus delivering IT technical complex projects 1.1.9
• Significant experience working with Enterprise architecture to build out High level solution outlines and High level architecture diagrams 1.1.10
• Significant Mulesoft API integration experience 1.1.11
• Significant Grafana Nifi experience 1.1.12
• Significant Agile Project Management Delivery Experience 1.1.13
• Significant Waterfall Project Management Delivery Experience 1.1.14
• Oversee associated testing and release management for the above. 1.1.15
• Ensure successful and timely delivery of all project phases endtoend 1.1.16 Ensure that projects have detailed IT work plans schedules project estimates resource plans and status reports. 1.1.17
• Significant experience in complex project management environments 1.1.18
• Experience working within a PMO construct and coordinating and delivering all required artefacts to support the project delivery 1.1.19
• Liaising with the National Transport Authority (NTA) on an ongoing basis with a view to ensuring that any required project controls/reports etc. are adequately catered for. 1.1.20
• Monitoring of metrics appropriate to relevant SLAs/contracts and actioning where required.

• Below is the JD Overview: We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with specialized experience in the railway undertaking and transport industry.
• The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of railway operations logistics safety and transport systems. Your role will be pivotal in analyzing business processes identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategic solutions to enhance operational efficiency and customer satisfaction within the railway sector.
Responsibilities:
• Business Process Analysis: o Evaluate existing business processes within the current transport framework.
• Identify areas of inefficiency bottlenecks or opportunities for improvement.
• Develop comprehensive process maps and workflows to document current and future states.
Data Analysis and Reporting:
• Analyze operational data related to railway transport including schedules routes and performance metrics.
• Generate insightful reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational efficiency.
• Provide datadriven recommendations to optimize resource allocation and improve service delivery.
Stakeholder Engagement:
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders (e.g. operations logistics finance) to understand business needs and challenges.
• Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather requirements and align on project objectives.
• Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders at all levels.
Regulatory Compliance and Industry Knowledge:
• Stay updated on regulatory requirements and industry trends affecting railway operations.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards environmental regulations and industry best practices.
• Provide expertise and guidance on regulatory impacts to business operations and strategic initiatives.
Qualifications:
Proven experience (min 56 years) as a Business Analyst within the railway undertaking and transport industry.
• Overall min 8 years of experience.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets and draw meaningful conclusions.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and software (e.g. Excel Tableau).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders effectively.
• Understanding of railway operations logistics scheduling and regulatory requirements.
