Key Job Responsibilities:
  • IT support for users on the go at client sites and in remote locations
  • Installation configuration and management of IT infrastructure covering all services managed by the local team in Japan
  • Ensure all IT equipment is compliant with the latest patches OEMcompliant OS/HW/SW
  • Knowledge and troubleshooting skills of enduser computing hardware operating systems and applications
  • Respond to service requests and incidents for local and remote users laptops desktops and mobile (managed on internal systems)
  • Support new hires onboarding (onsite and remote via WebEx) and provide laptop configuration and basic IT services
  • Work with stakeholders in line with service support processes
  • Prepare systems and infrastructure in line with IT and information security guidelines
  • Coordinate with ISPs in the event of link failures to ensure service is restored
  • Network management (e.g. Cisco switches routers wireless Access network checkpoint firewall) and troubleshooting skills
  • Management of regional MPLS infrastructure and COS management and routing
  • Management of LAN/WAN and WLAN infrastructure across the region
  • Management of regional client connectivity regional firewall management
  • Ensure that systems at each site are compliant with security KPIs
  • Respond to audits and ensure findings are addressed
  • Engage in business continuity management of IT infrastructure and services delivered from the site
  • Asset inventory management related tasks
  • Coordinate with vendors and service providers to obtain quotes for equipment on a regular or specific project need basis
  • Participate in and provide input the development of IT infrastructure budgets at the site
  • Project management and implementation engagements for setting up new infrastructure or upgrading existing infrastructure
  • Liaise with stakeholders from delivery facilities information security groups clients suppliers and internal teams
  • Identify areas of opportunity and create business cases for review approval and implementation
