Job Overview

The Assistant Operations Manager plays a critical role in assisting the Operations Manager in the planning coordination and supervision of various operational functions within an organization. This role involves managing daily activities ensuring operational efficiency and supporting the achievement of organizational objectives.

Responsibilities and Duties

1. Operational Oversight:

Assist in the development and execution of operational strategies and initiatives.

Collaborate with department heads to ensure efficient and cohesive operation of the organization.

2. Team Leadership:

Supervise and lead a team of operational staff delegating tasks and ensuring their efficient performance.

Provide guidance coaching and support to team members to help them meet their objectives.

3. Project Management:

Manage special projects and initiatives on behalf of the Operations Manager coordinating with crossfunctional teams.

Track project progress allocate resources and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

4. Budget Management:

Assist in budget preparation and financial analysis ensuring efficient allocation of resources.

Monitor budget performance and provide recommendations for cost optimization.

5. Quality Assurance:

Ensure that operational processes and outputs meet quality standards and compliance requirements.

Implement quality control measures and address qualityrelated issues.

6. Process Improvement:

Identify areas for process improvement and operational efficiency implementing changes as needed.

Streamline workflows and ensure best practices are adopted across the organization.

7. Resource Allocation:

Assist in managing and allocating resources including personnel equipment and materials to meet operational objectives.

Optimize resource utilization for costeffectiveness.

8. Compliance and Risk Management:

Ensure the organization complies with relevant regulations and industry standards.

Help identify and mitigate operational risks and vulnerabilities.

9. Reporting and Analysis:

Collect and analyze data related to operational performance.

Prepare reports and provide insights to the Operations Manager for decisionmaking.

10. Strategic Planning:

Contribute to the development and execution of the organizations strategic plan aligning operational efforts with broader goals.

Requirement

Bachelors degree in business management or a related field (Masters degree is a plus).

Proven experience in a leadership role with a strong operational and administrative background.

Exceptional organizational analytical and project management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software applications.

Strong problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.

Knowledge of budgeting financial analysis and strategic planning.

Leadership and team management experience.

Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced and dynamic environment.
