Job Summary:
The Commercial HVAC/Refrigeration Service Manager will oversee the daily operations of our service department. This role is responsible for managing a team of service technicians ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining service quality. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in HVAC and refrigeration systems excellent leadership skills and a commitment to providing exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and lead a team of HVAC/Refrigeration service technicians.
Schedule and dispatch technicians for service calls installations and maintenance.
Ensure all service activities are conducted safely efficiently and within budget.
Monitor job progress provide technical support and ensure highquality service delivery.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to ensure customer satisfaction.
Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide training and development for service technicians.
Oversee inventory management ensuring adequate stock of parts and equipment.
Handle customer inquiries complaints and service requests in a timely and professional manner.
Implement and maintain service policies procedures and best practices.
Prepare and present regular reports on service department performance.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC/Refrigeration service with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong technical knowledge of commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems.
Proven leadership and team management skills.
Excellent customer service and communication skills.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Proficient in using service management software and other relevant tools.
Valid drivers license and clean driving record.
HVAC and/or Refrigeration certification is preferred.
