Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Oracle Developer to join our team in Florida for a 12month contract. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Oracle development with extensive experience in database design development and optimization. This role involves designing developing and maintaining Oracle database solutions to support our business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Database Development:

  • Design develop and maintain Oracle databases to support various applications and business needs.
  • Write complex SQL queries stored procedures functions and triggers.
  • Develop and optimize PL/SQL code for performance and efficiency.

• Database Design and Architecture:

  • Design and implement database schemas tables views indexes and other database objects.
  • Ensure database design follows best practices and supports data integrity and security.
  • Collaborate with application developers to design and implement database solutions.

• Performance Tuning and Optimization:

  • Analyze and optimize database performance including query tuning and indexing strategies.
  • Monitor database performance and identify bottlenecks or issues.
  • Implement solutions to improve database performance and scalability.

• Data Management:

  • Manage and maintain database backup and recovery procedures.
  • Ensure data quality and consistency through data validation and cleansing.
  • Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information.

• Collaboration and Communication:

  • Work closely with business analysts project managers and other stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for databaserelated issues.
  • Document database designs processes and procedures.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Experience:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Oracle database development.
  • Proven track record of designing developing and optimizing Oracle databases.

• Technical Expertise:

  • Proficient in SQL and PL/SQL programming.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle database architecture and design principles.
  • Experience with performance tuning and optimization of Oracle databases.
  • Familiarity with Oracle tools and utilities such as Oracle SQL Developer TOAD and Oracle Enterprise Manager.

• Soft Skills:

  • Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certifications:

  • Oracle Certified Professional (OCP) certification is highly preferred.

• Additional Skills:

  • Experience with Oracle RAC Data Guard and other highavailability solutions.
  • Knowledge of data warehousing and ETL processes.
  • Experience with other database management systems (e.g. SQL Server MySQL) is a plus.
