Procurement Officer Transactional Buyer
We are seeking three dedicated and detailoriented professionals for our client in the mining and metal industry. This role is pivotal in ensuring the accurate and efficient procurement of goods and services maintaining compliance with company policies and collaborating closely with stakeholders.

Responsibilities:
Timely and Accurate Conversion of Purchase Requisitions
Perform transactional buying activities including converting purchase requisitions to purchase orders order processing and order tracking.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand and align with their procurement needs.
Respond promptly and accurately to queries related to buy processes.
Conduct Requests for Quotation (RFQ) to vendors.
Identify and utilize appropriate buying channels.
Adherence to Policy and Guidelines
Stay informed about market trends pricing and industry best practices.
Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies procedures and ethical standards.
Adhere to Delegation of Authority (DoA) competitive testing requirements and group procurement standards.
Professional Development
Take responsibility for personal growth and development in procurement operations.
Seek opportunities to expand knowledge and skills in the field.
What you will need to succeed:
Bachelors degree in business administration supply chain management or a related field.
24 years of relevant experience in transactional buying or procurement operations.
Proficiency with accounting software and systems for buying with knowledge of relevant modules and functionalities.
Familiarity with sourcing and procurement processes.
Familiarity with local procurement regulations and practices.
Strong stakeholder management communication and problemsolving skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in processing transactions.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
Bilingual in English and French with aptitude in Spanish and/or Portuguese considered an asset.
