Applications Engineer - Compressor Systems

We are looking for a talented Product/Application Support Engineer to join our growing Refrigeration Team in the Shrewsbury area HQ. This role is a great for a highly motivated individual to become a technical authority within our company and play a key role in supporting our customers.

What does this role cover

About the Role:

• Assist with product commissioning diagnostics and system optimisation.
• Undertake occasional site visits to support sales marketing and customer needs.
• Provide technical support for our variable speed drives (VFDs) used in refrigeration heat pumps compressors and HVACR applications.
• Select the right VFDs for customers based on their compressor data sheets
• Develop and deliver training on compressor applications to colleagues and partners.
• Collaborate with the development and production teams to ensure our VFDs meet market requirements.
• Contribute to the creation of marketing materials and technical documentation.
• Support the branded label process for our products.

You will be a great fit if you have:

• A strong background in compressor systems (refrigeration heat pumps etc.)
• A solid understanding of electricity (willingness to learn more is a plus!)
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
• A proactive and problemsolving approach
