Responsibilities:
Design and implement efficient data models and schemas in Snowflake considering factors such as performance scalability and data governance.
Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest transform and load data from various sources into Snowflake ensuring data quality and reliability.
Optimize SQL queries warehouse configuration and ETL processes to maximize performance and minimize resource consumption.
Implement and enforce security controls data encryption and access policies to protect sensitive data and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with data architects engineers and analysts to understand data requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
Lead efforts to automate and orchestrate Snowflake administration tasks such as provisioning scaling monitoring and backup/recovery.
Stay uptodate with the latest Snowflake features updates and best practices and proactively identify opportunities to improve data platform capabilities.
Participate in crossfunctional projects and initiatives working closely with stakeholders to deliver datadriven insights and drive business outcomes.
Qualifications:
6 years of experience in data engineering with at least 3 years of handson experience with Snowflake.
Strong proficiency in SQL and experience with performance tuning and optimization techniques.
Indepth understanding of Snowflake architecture features and capabilities including virtual warehouses data sharing and semistructured data handling.
Experience designing and implementing scalable data solutions using Snowflake including data modeling ETL/ELT processes and data warehousing best practices.
Solid understanding of data governance security and compliance requirements in a cloud data environment. Exposure to agile development methodologies
Preferred Qualifications:
Snowflake certification (e.g. SnowPro Core SnowPro Advanced)
Professional & Technical Skills: - Must To Have Skills: Strong experience in ServiceNow development. - Good To Have Skills: Experience with ITIL processes and ServiceNow certifications. - Solid understanding of ServiceNow platform architecture and development best practices. - Experience with ServiceNow modules such as Incident Management, Change Management, and Service Catalog. - Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Additional Information: - The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in ServiceNow development. - The ideal candidate will possess a strong educational background in computer science or a related field, along with a proven track record of delivering impactful ServiceNow solutions.
