Job Description
As a Data Analyst/Data Engineer (s)he should be able to :
Communicate efficiently with business departments to gather understand and translate business needs into clear requirements.
Get a clear view of all the data sources and data available within Axepta ;
Identify which data are required to build the expected extraction and reporting ;
Collect and integrate data and perform data preparation and transformations in a secure manner in order to produce reusable key data sets ;
Use these key data sets to produce reportings and analysis for our internal customers as well as regulatory reportings ;
Create clear documentation on the data collection and transformations ;
For this (s)he should be able to :
Build reports via Salesforce reporting module and/or build dashboards via Tableau or Power BI.
Create insights and do storytelling
Export merge and transform data with Power Query in case the data have not been integrated yet ; data security by design is key !
Ensure data quality by implementing controls on the imported and produced data.
Discover trends and insights that could bring value to the business.
Organize and document functionally implemented data integrations and reports.
REMARK : this is NOT the description of a data scientist profile ; we do not look for a data scientist profile for our team.
Requirements
Languages :
fluent in dutch / French and English
Expectation: 60% on site (Tuesday Thursday Wednesday) & 40% homeworking
Solid practical experience as data engineer of at least 5 years is needed in the activities listed on the Function Description for which resource needs to take the lead.
You have a solid IT background and know all about data modelling data documentation data collecting and transforming and GDPR/data protection building good data structures.
Youve worked in a BI context previously capturing and delivering data in a structured manner with reusable key data sets. You have developed dashboards and reportings. You know dos and donts to build such deliverables.
Technical experience
mandatory
Good experience with IT activities (data models API data manipulation
and transformation (doc included)
Excel (PowerPivot PowerQuery...) ; Experience with market ETL/ELT
tools is an advantage.
Salesforce reporting / Salesforce analytic Studio
Tableau dashboarding
Modelling technique (UML...)
Insight creation and story telling
Scrum (writing good User Stories)
preferable
thorough practical Salesforce Data model experience is a big plus
Business experience
mandatory
Business Reporting in a Acquiring and Enabling environment
(Accounting Billing payment transaction terminal management).
Story telling
preferable
Already worked in organisations where documentation is a musthave
deliverable (for maintenance purposes and traceability)
Experience in payment transactions is a plus
