Job Description

We are hiring a Oncology Nurse for a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland. We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsibility for providing nursing care to assigned patients during each shift.
- Maintaining the highest levels of patient care requires constant collaboration with the nursing team and assistance from colleagues as needed.
- Work well together as a team of experts from different backgrounds to accomplish shared objectives
- Delegate appropriate tasks to appropriate personnel consistent with professional and legal guidelines and departmental standards.
- Maintains clear communications with the Nurse Manager regarding unit needs and incidents.
Requirements
- Enrolled in the General Division of the NMBIs live nurse registry
- An oncology nursing course or something similar is a clear benefit.
- Two years or more as a staff nurse in an acute general hospital with at least one of those years spent in an acute oncology unit
- Proficiency in chemotherapy is preferred
