Job Description

Bilingual Administrative Assistant

Our client in the insurance industry is seeking 5 Bilingual Administrative Assistants to join their Distributor Services team reporting to the Manager of Distributor Services. This role involves managing contracting licensing and transfers of business.

Hourly salary of $28.00 to $32.25 based on experience.
3month contract.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
Hybrid work: 3 office days from Tuesday to Thursday.

Responsibilities:

Review and process new advisor requests within multiple systems ensuring compliance with provincial requirements.
Conduct research and facilitate the movement of business between advisors.
Handle ongoing administrative tasks for advisors contracted with Manulife ensuring adherence to company policies compliance and regulatory requirements.
Utilize strong bilingual (French and English) oral and written communication skills to liaise with internal and external partners.
Work effectively under pressure managing high volumes of work and meeting expected Service Level Agreements (SLAs).
Provide exceptional customer service and relationship management.
Collaborate and support the team with minimal supervision.

What you will need to succeed:

Bilingual in English and French (spoken and written).
Familiarity with complex distribution systems or an aptitude for learning new software.
Experience with Microsoft Excel.
Understanding of licensing requirements across all provinces is an asset.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work effectively under pressure handling high volumes of work.
Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
Ability to collaborate and support the team with minimal supervision.
