Represent clients in first party property damage claims including but not limited to fire water wind and hurricane damage.
Manage all phases of litigation from intake through trial including drafting pleadings discovery motions and trial preparation.
Conduct legal research and provide legal analysis and strategy for complex property damage cases.
Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance adjusters.
Maintain communication with clients to keep them informed about the status of their cases and address any concerns they may have.
Work closely with experts witnesses and investigators to build strong cases.
Attend court appearances mediations and depositions.
Ensure compliance with all legal standards and regulations.
Collaborate with other attorneys and support staff to ensure efficient case management.
Experience you will need:
Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
Admitted to practice law in the state of State.
510 years of experience in plaintiff work preferably with a focus on property damage cases.
Exceptional candidates with less than 5 years of experience will be considered if they have substantial experience in First Party Property Damage cases.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proven ability to manage a large caseload and meet deadlines.
Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
Detailoriented with strong organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in legal research tools and case management software.
Previous experience working with major insurance companies on property damage claims.
Track record of successful verdicts and settlements in property damage cases.
