Job Description
Our Workday Business Analyst will be heavily involved in our projects and BAU requests. You will be responsible for everything from requirements gathering requirements sign off test scripts training and post deployment support. As a Business Analyst at NCC you will work alongside technical team members who design develop and deploy internal projects and BAU business requests.
As part of the Workday team you will ensure projects are delivered in line with the company s development change and release processes. We are looking for someone who also has a track record of proactively identifying opportunities where system improvements can be made.
Job Description:
- Organize and manage UAT test sessions with the business and write test cases for the business to follow. Gathering global sign off for the build and deployment to go ahead.
- Responsible for the validation of functional and nonfunctional requirements and ensuring a welldefined acceptance criteria ahead of sprint planning meetings.
- Formal and informal relationships and very proactive communications are developed and maintained both within the department and between all business stakeholders to promote an exceptional understanding of goals timescales requirements and benefits as well as collaboration and feedback.
Role Responsibilities
- Lead requirements gathering sessions proactively drawing out requirements from stakeholders and translating these into requirements including use cases and user stories. Adding these to the backlog.
- Mapping of end to end as is and to be business processes.
- Being able to consider requirements for different regions and how these impact the global org structure and working with the business for requirements sign off.
- Identifies and resolves problems which may impact projects by monitoring progress and project status. Escalates important issues to senior leadership ensuring that decisions can be made promptly.
- Transition from project phases to business as usual ensuring a seamless shift in support and change management.
- Good understanding of change management and release processes.
Requirements
Skills and Qualifications
- 3 years BA experience
- 1 years Workday BA (or similar) experience
- Demonstrable experience of covering the complete project lifecycle in a structured environment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word tools including Word Excel and Visio.
- Worked within a Scrum framework Agile methodology.
- Previous project experience with interfaces between multiple systems.
- Experience working with both on premise and SaaS solutions.
- Knowledge around CICD deployments and Jira
- Previous experience of working across multistate locations and time zones.
- Experience in the technology sector even better in the professional services world is desirable.

- Organizational skills personal efficiency time management skills and the ability to prioritize competing demands are key.
- Communication skills Communicates in written oral and presentation formats to best represent and express user and organizational requirements to audiences up to midlevel management. Seeks first to understand and then be understood.

- Adaptability and Agility Unperturbed managing activities across more than one project simultaneously. Able to adjust to the unexpected intelligently and calmly assessing impact and options. Comfortable working in a fastpaced dynamic environment with crossfunctional teams both internally and externally.
