We are seeking a dynamic and resultsoriented Sales Agent to join our team at our microfinance bank. In this pivotal role you will be responsible for driving the growth of our organization by acquiring new clients promoting our comprehensive range of financial products and services tailored for micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and consistently achieving ambitious sales targets.
Summary of Responsibilities
Lead Generation:
Identify and generate new sales opportunities through cold calling networking community outreach referrals and social media.
Conduct market research to identify potential clients and understand their financial needs.
Attend industry events and networking functions to represent the bank and build relationships.
Client Acquisition:
Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients through regular followups and engagement.
Conduct needs assessments and provide tailored microfinance solutions including loans savings accounts and other banking services.
Explain the benefits and features of the banks financial products to potential clients clearly and convincingly.
Sales Presentations:
Prepare and deliver engaging sales presentations and product demonstrations to potential clients.
Customize presentations based on the client s specific needs and financial situation.
Utilize various sales tools and materials to enhance presentation effectiveness.
Negotiation and Closing:
Negotiate terms and conditions of loan agreements and other financial products with clients.
Guide clients through the application and approval process ensuring they understand all terms and conditions.
Close sales deals efficiently while ensuring all compliance and regulatory requirements are met.
Customer Service:
Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries and resolving issues promptly and effectively.
Follow up with clients after sales to ensure satisfaction and maintain longterm relationships.
Offer additional financial products and services based on client needs and feedback.
Market Research:
Stay informed about industry trends market conditions and competitor activities to identify new sales opportunities.
Gather and report client feedback and market insights to the sales and marketing teams.
Continuously update knowledge of the bank s products services and policies.
Reporting:
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all sales activities client interactions and transactions in CRM software.
Prepare regular sales reports including analysis of sales performance and forecasting future sales.
Provide detailed feedback to management on the effectiveness of sales strategies and tactics.
Requirements
The Ideal Candidate
Should have a bachelor s degree in business Finance Marketing or a related field preferred.
Proven experience in sales preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
Demonstrated track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

How to Apply
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or CISA certification a plus). Minimum of 5 years of experience in internal auditing or a related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and writing skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel is essential). Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Experience with data analytics tools and techniques (a plus).
