Job Description

We are hiring a Senior House Officer in a Private Hospital in Cork Ireland.
We will provide exceptional patient care in an environment where quality respect caring and compassion are at the center of all we do.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities
- Assess examine take histories diagnose & treat patients/service users
- Monitor patients/service users & ensure implementation of medical decisions
- Participate in & modify treatment plans & therapeutic programs
- Prescribe medications for patients as required i.e. as directed by the Consultant
- All patients admitted are seen by an SHO and medications prescribed
- Respond to emergencies.
- Participate in ward rounds.
Requirements
- MB Bch are necessary.
- It is necessary to have a general Irish Medical Council registration.
- ACLS and BLS are necessary (or be willing to do)
- Capable of handling emergencies
- Experience in a surgical or medical context that is relevant; acute hospital experience in Ireland or the UK is desired
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service abilities
- Ability to adjust to developments in the medical field
- Effective in a collaborative setting with strong organizational and time management abilities
