Job Description

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Demonstrates Effective Communication and ProblemSolving Skills.

Perform Analysis of Costs for use during Sourcing Process ensuring a minimum of three quotes.

Preparing Proposals Requesting Quotes and Negotiating Purchase Terms and Conditions.

Preparing and Issuing Purchase Orders and Agreements.

Monitoring Supplier Performance and Resolving Issues and Concerns.

Analyzing Industry and Demand Trends and Supporting Senior Management with the Development and Implementation of Sourcing Strategies.

Manages CAPEX Projects Including Budget and Contractors per Contracts.

Generate and Document Cost Savings through Supplier Negotiations and Continuous Improvement Process.

Ensure Efficient Management of Contracts Systems and Supplier Development.

Establish and Maintain Controls for Quantity Quality Price and Delivery of related incoming Purchased Items.

Manage Consignment Stock and Identify Opportunities to Minimize Inventory Value.

Review and Maintain Good Record of Purchasing Files and Records to Ensure its Compliance with Company Policies and Procedures and Ensure Availability of Documentation.

Submits Reports in Accordance with Reporting Directives.

Continually Improve Purchasing Methods and Processes.

Maintain Safe and AccidentFree Work Environment.

Special Projects and/or other duties as assigned.


QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor s degree in Business Administration Accounting Economic or related field preferred.

Minimum 5 years experience in Purchasing and/or MRO Buying preferred.

Two years experience In Plant Manufacturing.

Knowledge and Ability to Negotiate best vendor terms and pricing.

Strong Interpersonal and Communication skills.

Highly Organized Detail Oriented and able to multi task.

Possess the following KPI s: Results Focused Planning & Organization Technical Knowledge & Troubleshooting Communications Proficiency and VisionStrategy.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
