Apprenticeship

This position is open to Wisconsin Residents in the following Counties: Dane Brookfield Waukesha Milwaukee Dodge Washington Jefferson Rock Columbia West Allis

Caregiver Entry level position. Performing personal care tasks as per the care plan and as advised by the RN. 2. Documenting each task delivered and making a written report for the RN after each visit. 3. Promptly making a report to the RN if the condition of a client changes. 4. Updating the RN frequently concerning the progress or situation of a client. 5. Practicing infection control measures according to the guidelines given by the U.S. Centers for Diseases Control and Prevention during the course of delivering care.

Requirements

Age: Must be at least eighteen (18) years of age before the time of Assignment

Education: Must be a High School Graduate or a General Equvalency Diploma before the time of assignment

Health Screening: Immunizations or Tier of chicken pox vaccine hepatitis B vaccine MMR ( measles mumps rubella) and Tdap. A Neg TB skin test no less than 3 months before the time of assignment.

Recommended immunizations of Covid19 vaccination Flu vaccine HPV and Shingles vaccine per age appropriateness. If refusal on the recommended immunizations attestation letter is to be signed.

Physical Ability: Must present or sign a statement that he or she is physically able to perform caregiver work with or without reasonable accommodation.

Applicants who reach employable status must successfully pass a drug screen test before placement of assignment.

License: Must be able to get to work and class on a timely and consistent basis anywhere within the UniqueIHPC Jurisdiction. Selfdrivers and reach employable status you must pass MVR record check before varied placements in the field.

Optional Certification: If you have required Certified Direct Care Professional (CDCP) consideration in advance placement
