Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Facilities & Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance operations across an established 82 retail coin laundromat chain. This position will focus on maintaining high standards of operational continuity optimizing standard operating procedures (SOPs) addressing urgent operational issues and ensuring that all maintenance strategies align with our financial goals. Reporting to the General Manager of Operations the successful candidate will play a key role in upholding and enhancing the operational integrity and profitability of our laundromats.

Key Responsibilities:
Operational Excellence:
  • Ensure that all maintenancerelated businessasusual (BAU) operations are performed accurately and eTiciently according to current SOPs across all locations.
SOP Management:
  • Conduct regular assessments to refine update or eliminate SOPs ensuring they remain relevant sustainable and impactful. Innovate and implement operational improvements to drive greater eTiciency.
Crisis Management:
  • Respond swiftly to unexpected maintenance issues providing immediate solutions to prevent operational disruptions and develop longterm strategies to prevent recurrence.
Financial Oversight:
  • Monitor and analyse maintenance costs as reflected in the profit and loss (P&L) statements to ensure costeTectiveness of the maintenance operations. Strategize to optimize machine uptime and response times while managing labour and spare parts costs eTectively.

Requirements

Qualifications and Skills:
  • Proven track record in maintenance management preferably in a retail or service industry with multiple locations.
  • Strong leadership qualities and decisionmaking capabilities.
  • Exceptional problemsolving skills proven by a history of eTective operational enhancement.
  • Financial literacy with experience in managing budgets and reducing costs.
  • Bachelors degree or above in preferably in the fields of engineering physics mathematics statistics economics finance and actuarial science.

  • Vital for identifying root causes of maintenance issues and developing eTective innovative solutions that prevent future problems. This competency ensures operational resilience and continuity

  • Essential to manage and align maintenance operations with financial objectives ensuring that all practices are costeTective and contribute to the overall profitability of the business.
Crisis Management:
  • Crucial for quickly resolving unexpected challenges that could disrupt operations minimizing downtime and maintaining customer satisfaction.
