Job Description: As a Belt Scraper Technician you will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and efficiency of our conveyor belt systems. You will ensure that material buildup is minimised preventing belt misalignment and reducing the risk of spillage.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install and maintain belt scrapers on conveyor belts.
• Regularly inspect scrapers for wear and tear replacing them as necessary.
• Remove excess material that sticks to the conveyor belts.
• Ensure a safe work environment by preventing material spillage.
• Collaborate with other team members to maintain operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in a similar role within the mining industry.
• Strong attention to detail and problemsolving skills.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Commitment to safety and following established protocols.
• Availability for a 2:1 roster (2 weeks on 1 week off).
