Location: FIFO from Perth to Port Hedland

Job Type: Fulltime 2:1 Roster (2 weeks on 1 week off)

We are looking for an experienced Belt Splicer for an immediate start to ensure the integrity and functionality of our conveyor belt systems. Job Description: As a Belt Splicer you will be responsible for repairing and joining conveyor belts to maintain continuous operation. Your expertise will help prevent downtime and ensure the longevity of our belt systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and splice conveyor belts using adhesives vulcanizing processes or mechanical fasteners.
• Inspect belts for damage or wear and diagnose issues.
• Perform preventive maintenance to extend the life of conveyor belts.
• Install new belts or sections of belts as needed.
• Adhere to strict safety protocols during all splicing processes.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Belt Splicer in the mining industry.
• Proficiency in cutting shaping and joining conveyor belts.
• Strong problemsolving abilities and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Availability for a 2:1 roster (2 weeks on 1 week off).
