Job Responsibilities:
Market Research & Analysis
- Conduct thorough market research to identify potential clients and new business opportunities.
- Analyse market trends competitor activities and customer needs to inform strategic planning.
Lead Generation & Sales
- Identify qualify and pursue new business leads through various channels including networking cold calling and digital marketing.
- Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
- Negotiate and close sales deals to achieve or exceed revenue targets.
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong longlasting relationships with clients and partners.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to ensure client satisfaction and retention.
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients addressing their inquiries and resolving any issues promptly.
Strategic Partnerships
- Identify and establish strategic partnerships with key stakeholders in the fintech ecosystem such as banks payment processors and technology providers.
- Collaborate with partners to develop joint business initiatives and drive mutual growth.
Product Knowledge & Advocacy
- Maintain an indepth understanding of our payment solutions including features benefits and competitive advantages.
- Stay updated on industry developments emerging technologies and regulatory changes affecting the fintech sector. Preferably experience in the ECommerce space.
- Advocate for our products and services at industry events conferences and networking functions.
Reporting & Analysis
- Prepare regular reports on sales activities pipeline status and business development performance.
- Analyse sales data to identify trends insights and areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Business Finance Marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development sales or a similar role in the fintech industry.
- Strong understanding of payment gateways ewallets and digital payment solutions.
- Excellent communication negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Selfmotivated proactive and resultsoriented with a strong drive to achieve targets.
- Familiarity with CRM software and sales tools.
- Experience working with payment processors banks or financial institutions. (Preferred)
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in fintech and digital payments.(Preferred)
- Understanding of emerging trends and technologies in the fintech sector.(Preferred)
