FPGA DESIGNER

We are currently looking for a FPGA Designerto support one of our project in Modena.

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to system engineer for FPGA definition;
• Collaborate to define the FPGA detailed specification;
• Define and evaluate IP cores to be procured;
• Define the FPGA architecture;
• Design the FPGA in VHDL;
• Perform code coverage;
• Design the testbench for the FPGA;
• Perform simulation;

About you:

• Degree in Electronics Engineering or Physics;
• Good knowledge of:
• VHDL/Verilog coding;
• FPGA devices (in particular Microsemi);
• FPGA SW tools (Modelsim Sinplify Microsemi Libero);
• digital design (processors memories ADC ecc);
• digital I/Fs (SPI UART ecc);
• laboratory instrumentation (mainly multimeter and oscilloscope);
• Microsoft office;
• Fluent spoken and written English;
• 23 years of experience in FPGA DESIGN;

Nice to have:

Ability to develop firmware for microcontrollers in C/C language.

2. If successful a second interview will be conducted to validate your technical knowledge.
3. In case of a positive outcome from the technical interview there will be a last qualification meeting with the Client.
