Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Monitor KPIs, analyzing trends and making actionable recommendations
  • Business partnering stakeholders of all levels across several departments to aid commercial decision making
  • Support the Group Head of FP&A on the quarterly budgeting and reforecasting process
  • Assist development of new business cases for new products and markets
  • Developing financial models and providing financial forecasts
  • Assist development and continuous improvement of management reporting across the business
  • Assist continuous development of the FP&A function including review of systems, tools, controls, and processes to ensure the most appropriate and accurate insights can be generated
  • Support the Group Head of FP&A in any future fundraising and M&A activities
  • Group consolidated income statement, balance sheet, cashflow statement
  • Monthly management accounts
  • Monthly board pack
  • Key reconciliation schedules (e.g. intercompany reconciliations, client liability reconciliation)
  • Any ad-hoc requests from senior management

Skills & Competencies

  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
  • Advanced modelling experience(Excel and BI tools) and strong analysis

Experience Requirements

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or have a strong accountancy and financial planning background
  • Experience of working within (or with, if coming straight from practice) a high growth Fin tech business desirable
