Job Description

Job Title: Sales Manager

Department: Sales

Location: So Paulo Brazil

Reports To: Head of Sales

General Job Description: The Sales Manager role is pivotal in developing and implementing sales strategies driving revenue growth through new client acquisition and strengthening relationships with key stakeholders in the Brazilian market. This involves the identification negotiation and management of key clients industry relationship cultivation and initiatives to expand market presence and revenue streams. The role requires extensive industry knowledge robust negotiation skills and a visionary approach to solidify a leading position in the SaaS space for B2B ecommerce.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Strategic Planning:

    • Develop and implement sales strategies aligned with organizational objectives and market trends.
    • Identify target industries segments and potential clients within the ecommerce and retail sectors.
  2. Business Development:

    • Prospect qualify and onboard new clients.
    • Manage a sales pipeline and utilize CRM tools for tracking and optimization.
  3. Client Engagement:

    • Present products and services to potential clients.
    • Establish and maintain relationships with key decisionmakers.
  4. Market Analysis and Adaptation:

    • Stay updated on industry trends and competitor activities.
    • Adapt sales approaches based on market feedback.
  5. Team Collaboration and Management:

    • Work with crossfunctional teams for alignment and customer satisfaction.
    • Provide training and mentorship to enhance team performance.
  6. Sales Team Performance Oversight:

    • Ensure achievement of sales KPIs and targets.
    • Provide coaching and support to the sales team.
  7. Target Achievement Strategy Implementation:

    • Develop and implement strategies to achieve sales targets.
    • Coordinate with the team to align efforts with overall objectives.
  8. Additional tasks as assigned by the direct manager.

Education & Training:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business Administration Marketing or related field (MBA is a plus).
  • Proficiency in Portuguese and English; Spanish is a plus.

Knowledge & Experience:

  • 5 years in Sales management preferably in SaaS or B2B ecommerce.
  • Experience in client acquisition and team management.

Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong problemsolving communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Expertise in negotiation and analytical decisionmaking.
  • Time management and multitasking abilities.
  • Advanced motivational and organizational skills.

Working Conditions:

  • Hybrid work environment (remote and inoffice in So Paulo).
  • Subject to change as per organizational policies.

Hours/Shifts:

  • Monday to Friday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm or 9:00 am to 5:00 pm with a 1hour break.
