As a member of the UX Research unit within the Development Department youll be entrusted with conducting UX research for various services offered by our company with a focus on the largest 2D content EC site in Japan. Upon joining youll collaborate across departments in companywide projects conducting various investigative plans hypothesis explorations and validations to enhance user experience aiding in decisionmaking and service improvements.
The EC site boasts a massive user base exceeding 12.08 million members. This role provides an opportunity to engage comprehensively from planning to postimplementation improvement measures. Additionally youll conduct a wide range of UX research tasks from acceptance testing for new services to facilitating workshops for idea generation and immersive investigations during voice content consumption.
UX Research Unit: Shares insights into otaku culture and behavior aiming to discover and disseminate otaku insights.
- Conducting research for enhancing user experience and optimizing business processes for inhouse services (interviews surveys ethnographic studies)
- Carrying out usability evaluations for websites/apps (usability tests etc.)
- Creating outputs such as personas CJMs Value Proposition Canvas based on research findings and organizing workshops
- Collaborating with engineers directors designers etc. facilitating UX design discussions
- Simultaneous service growth collaboration with BizDev
- Educating future researchers fostering the internal adoption of UXD/HCD processes
