Finance Manager

Job Description:

The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing all financial activities including budgeting forecasting financial reporting and compliance. This role will involve close collaboration with senior management to develop and implement financial strategies that support the companys goals and objectives. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting exceptional analytical skills and the ability to lead and motivate a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Planning & Analysis:
  • Develop and manage annual budgets and forecasts.
  • Perform financial analysis to support strategic decisionmaking.
  • Prepare and present financial reports to senior management.
• Accounting & Compliance:
  • Oversee the accounting function ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and standards.
  • Manage the monthend and yearend closing processes.
• Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure the companys financial stability.
  • Develop strategies to optimize working capital.
• Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the finance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
• Risk Management:
  • Identify and mitigate financial risks.
  • Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Stakeholder Communication:
  • Liaise with external auditors banks and other financial institutions.
  • Communicate financial performance and strategy to stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or a related field.
• CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 57 years of experience in finance or accounting with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Previous experience in the agricultural industry.
• Proficiency in financial or accounting software (SAGE SAP Famous etc.) and MS Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and standards.
