Lead Electrical Design Engineer

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables:

1. Prepare Tender specifications data sheets and material requisites (MRs) Technical bid evaluation (TBE) design basis reports (DBR) and technical specification.
2. Preparation of Single Line Diagrams (overall and basic protection); Schematic diagrams schedules I/O List and logics for EHV/MV/ LV system.
3. Substation Design Engineering (conductor sizing sag tension analysis protection philosophy short circuit force for voltage level up to 220kV AIS / GIS).
4. Sizing calculations for electrical equipments (CT/PT Transformers DC system UPS system Auxiliary system Switchgears MCCs etc.)
5. Calculations for electrical components (cables cable tray/conduit sizing cable tray loading calculations and earthing and lighting design calculations).
6. System studies calculations (Load flow Short circuit Motor starting) using ETAP software and manual calculations.
7. Review of Layouts and engineering drawings of Substation include Substation General Arrangement Erection Key diagram Earthmat details Raceways lighting grounding and equipment layout;
8. Prepare cable / Distribution Board schedules inter panel wirings.
9. Academic Background: Min Qualification should be B.E/B. Tech Electrical from Reputed Institute
10. Primary Engineering Skill Set:
11. Understanding the Protection SLD
12. Layout Preparation with AutoCAD efficiency
13. Major Equipment like Power Transformer CB CT &PT ISO LA HT and LT SwitchBoard ACDB & DCDB Battery and Battery Charger) Technical Validation from Engineering
14. Preparation of Cable Schedule
15. Preparation of Illumination design and Drawing
16. Preparation of Earthmat Design and Drawing
17. Preparation of Lightning Protection Design and Drawing with BOQ
18. Secondary Engineering Skill Set:
19. Control and Relay Panel Technical Vetting
20. CRP Scheme
21. SCADA
22. RTU
23. SAS
24. PLCC & FOTE and others

Qualification & Other Requirements:

• Education: Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering or related field is required. A Masters degree in Procurement Supply Chain Management or a relevant discipline is advantageous.
• Experience: 10 plus Years
