Job Description

Summary

The Role

The Guest Relation Officer will assist in managing the department as a successful independent profit center and to provide courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service consistent with Grand Hyatt Amman and Hyatt International Standards Policies & Procedures in order to maximize guests’ satisfaction.

As a Guest Relation Officer, you will be reporting directly to the Front Office Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide a courteous, professional, efficient and flexible service at all times, following Grand Hyatt Amman Standards of Performance
  • Ensure when required, the doctor is contacted with the minimum delay and that direct supervisor is informed accordingly.
  • Be aware and adhere to the hotel emergency policy and procedure.
  • Act as a departmental coordinator for all areas of the hotel and ensure a proper follow-up is done for all guests’ requests and comments.
  • plug in all customer inquiries into the system and ensure proper follow up is done
  • Handle guest enquiries in a courteous and efficient manner and report guest complaints or problems to supervisors if no immediate solution can be found and assure follow up with guests.
  • Perform billing and cashiering functions as required within the department.
  • Maintain total confidentiality of all guest and associate information.

Qualifications

  • University degree
  • 0-1 years of experience as Guest Relation Agent in 5 stars hotel
  • Very good level of English language
