Finance Manager

We're a leading recruitment company in Sri Lanka and looking for a Finance Manager/Financial Controller for a wellestablished Apparel manufacturing company located in Katunayake (Onsite). The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in managing financial operations and ensuring the company's financial health and stability. This position involves strategic planning managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Reporting: Oversee the preparation and presentation of accurate and timely financial reports including monthly quarterly and annual statements.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the budgeting process develop financial forecasts and monitor performance against budgets.
• Cash Flow Management: Manage cash flow oversee the treasury function and ensure the company's liquidity needs are met.
• Financial Analysis: Provide insightful analysis and strategic recommendations based on financial data to support business decisions.
• Cost Control: Monitor and control operational costs identifying opportunities for efficiency improvements.
• Risk Management: Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to mitigate risk and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the finance team fostering a collaborative and highperformance environment.
• Audit & Compliance: Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure compliance with financial standards and regulations.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Work closely with senior management and other stakeholders to align financial strategies with organizational goals.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance Accounting or related field (Master’s degree or CIMA/ACCA preferred).
• Experience: Minimum of 6 years of experience in financial management with a proven track record in a leadership role and experience in the apparel industry will be an added advantage
