Roles & Responsibilities
We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Head to lead our Quality Assurance team in the apparel industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of over 15 years in quality management specifically within the apparel sector. This role requires a strategic leader who can implement and maintain the highest quality standards across all aspects of our production process.
1. Strategic Leadership:
Develop and implement quality assurance strategies policies and procedures.
Ensure alignment of quality initiatives with overall business goals.
Lead and mentor the quality assurance team fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
2. Quality Management:
Oversee all quality control processes from raw material inspection to finished product evaluation.
Establish and maintain quality standards and specifications for all products.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards (e.g. ISO AQL).
3. Process Improvement:
Identify areas for process improvement and implement corrective actions.
Utilize datadriven approaches to monitor and enhance product quality.
Drive initiatives to reduce defects and improve production efficiency.
4. Supplier Management:
Collaborate with suppliers to ensure raw materials meet quality standards.
Conduct regular supplier audits and assessments.
Work closely with the procurement team to resolve quality issues.
5. Training and Development:
Develop and deliver training programs for quality assurance personnel.
Stay updated with the latest industry trends and best practices in quality management.
Promote a qualitycentric mindset across the organization.
Qualifications
Bachelors degree in fashion design textile engineering or related field prefer from NIFT Pearl Academy or equivalent
15 years of experience in quality control management.
Strong understanding of garment construction and production processes.
Ability to work independently and be handson with production teams.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners.
Willingness to travel extensively to partner garment factories to conduct audits and ensure quality control standards are met.
Knowledge of quality control tools and techniques such as Six Sigma is a plus.
