IB PYP Hindi Teacher

Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and deliver engaging Hindi language lessons in line with the IB PYP curriculum
• Integrate language learning with transdisciplinary themes and promote cultural understanding
• Design and implement effective teaching strategies to cater to diverse learning needs
• Provide opportunities for students to apply Hindi language skills in realworld contexts
• Collaborate with colleagues to create a holistic and inquirybased learning environment
• Assess and monitor student progress in Hindi language acquisition
• Support the integration of language learning with other subject areas
• Facilitate open communication with students parents and the wider school community
• Contribute to the development and review of the PYP curriculum for Hindi language
• Implement best practices in classroom management and student engagement
• Participate in professional development activities related to IB PYP and language education
• Empower students to become effective communicators in Hindi
• Utilize technology to enhance language learning experiences
• Support student transitions within the PYP framework
• Contribute to the schools extracurricular activities and events

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Education Hindi or related field
• Valid teaching certification
• Demonstrated experience in teaching Hindi language within an IB PYP context
• Proficiency in English and Hindi languages
• Understanding of the PYP framework and its application to language education
• Ability to differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners
• Knowledge of effective assessment practices for language acquisition
• Strong intercultural communication and empathy towards diverse perspectives
• Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development
• Experience in creating interactive and inquirybased learning experiences
• Excellent classroom management and ability to create a positive learning environment
• Familiarity with educational technology and its integration in language teaching
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
• Passion for promoting language learning and cultural appreciation
