Housekeeping Coordinator

Position Summary:

To control the public area staff supervised and monitor the cleanliness and efficiency of all public areas.

Scope and Responsibilities:

• Calls the the guest to keep informed of the progress in providing service if so requested or if there are any delays
• Operates computer system efficiently
• Reports guest comments to the supervisor immediately
• Ensure all VIP guest for both inhouse and arriving are well coordinated with he team
• Ensure all guest requirements are properly coordinated and setup before releasing the rooms
• Handle telephone calls and ensures all messages information and requests are logged
• Prepares daily room attendant and supervisor worksheet room clerks forms
• Ensuring all room status in RMS is updated
• Prepares daily discrepancy report and maintain records
• Generate and maintain various operational reports
• Assist Housekeeping Supervisors in taking a lead role in the coordination of all housekeeping employees and active daily room assignments inspection of rooms evening service assignments and other special tasks.
• Maintain effective record and filing systems completing all administrative reports accurately and in a timely manner.
