Job Title: RN Medical / Surgical
Location: Stafford Springs CT 06076
Shift Details:
- Hours: 12hour shifts three days per week
- Schedule: 19:00 to 07:30
- Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours
Salary:
- NonLocal Pay Rate: $56.34/hr.
- Taxable Wage: $47.51/hr.
- Per Diem: $8.83/hr.
- Reward: $7.04/hr.
- Local Pay Rate (within 60 miles): $49.14/hr.
Responsibilities:
- Provide highquality compassionate care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
- Perform patient assessments develop and implement care plans and monitor patient progress.
- Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
- Educate patients and their families on medical conditions treatments and care plans.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
- Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with medical/surgical nursing best practices.
Requirements:
- Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
- Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
- Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- References: Two professional references required.
- Experience: Prior experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a highstress fastpaced environment.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods lift and move patients and equipment and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
