Job Title: RN Medical / Surgical

Location: Stafford Springs CT 06076

Shift Details:

• Hours: 12hour shifts three days per week
• Schedule: 19:00 to 07:30
• Total Weekly Hours: 36 hours

Salary:

• NonLocal Pay Rate: $56.34/hr.
  • Taxable Wage: $47.51/hr.
  • Per Diem: $8.83/hr.
  • Reward: $7.04/hr.
• Local Pay Rate (within 60 miles): $49.14/hr.

Responsibilities:

• Provide highquality compassionate care to patients in the medical/surgical unit.
• Perform patient assessments develop and implement care plans and monitor patient progress.
• Administer medications treatments and procedures as prescribed by physicians.
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.
• Educate patients and their families on medical conditions treatments and care plans.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records and documentation.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and infection control standards.
• Participate in continuous education and professional development to stay current with medical/surgical nursing best practices.

Requirements:

• Education: Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
• Licensure: Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license to practice in the state of Connecticut.
• Certification: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
• References: Two professional references required.
• Experience: Prior experience in medical/surgical nursing preferred.
• Skills:

  • Ability to work effectively in a highstress fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities.
• Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for extended periods lift and move patients and equipment and perform physical tasks related to patient care.
