Title: Senior Backend Developer
Location: Arlington VA Remote (Must be based in US)
Duration: 3 month
Rate: Only on w2

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the technical development lead for the Kafka application providing expert guidance to the client team.
• Develop scalable and efficient backend solutions within the Kafka application.
• Collaborate with both functional and technical teams to understand requirements and ensure seamless integration with frontend components.
• Utilize Agile Development Lifecycle best practices conducting code reviews to ensure adherence to development coding standards.
• Provide technical guidance and support to junior developers.
• Implement and maintain robust and secure backend systems leveraging best practices in software development.
• Optimize backend performance and ensure high availability and scalability of applications.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues within the Kafka application.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and technologies to incorporate best practices into development processes.

Required Experience:

• 5 years of Structured Query Language (SQL) experience.
• 5 years of experience with Java.
• 5 years of Amazon Web Services (AWS) experience.
• 5 years of Apache Kafka experience.
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
