Job Description:
Job Title: Payroll Accountant
Duration: 3 Months (Possible Extensions)
Location: 6601 Six Forks Rd Suite 410 Raleigh NC 27615
Shift: Day 5x8Hour (08:00 05:00) (flexibility allowed) and Hybrid in office/remote)
Note:
- This role is 70% accounting support and 30% payroll processing.
- MF 8am5pm (flexibility allowed) and Hybrid in office/remote
Basic Qualifications:
- BS Accounting Degree required (do not submit candidates without an accounting degree)
- General Ledger 1 year required
- Account Reconciliations 1 year required
- Journal entries 1 year required
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees accurately and on time using UKG HRIS on a Biweekly cadence.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant laws regulations and company policies.
- Review and verify timekeeping records for accuracy for both exempt and nonexempt employees
- Calculate and process adjustments bonuses commissions and other payrollrelated payments.
- Generate payroll reports as needed for management and regulatory purposes including but not limited to; benefit deductions 401k HSA/FSA.
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters.
- Collaborate with HR and finance teams to ensure accurate recordkeeping and reporting.
- Assist with payrollrelated projects and initiatives as needed.
